In order to mark the birthday of Vuk S. Karadžić, the students of the second grade devoted this week’s Serbian language lessons to acquiring and expanding their knowledge of folk literature and folk art. Through a series of different activities, the students got to know the life and work of Vuk S. Karadžić, interesting facts from his life and the process of rearranging the alphabet. Through interactive and multimedia materials, folk humorous songs, stories and folk art were processed. A special pleasure for the students was the formation of a reading corner in our classroom in order to develop and nurture a love of reading.
