In order to celebrate Earth Day, creative workshops were held with the students of our school in the Art, Design and Technology and World Around Us. By drawing attention to the importance of preserving nature and preventing the negative consequences of human activities on the environment, various products were created from recycled materials.
The tribunes were dedicated to “stories” about the words of the Serbian language and their correct spelling, as well as the reform of Vuk Stefanović Karadžić. An inevitable topic was the discussion about the use of foreign words in our speech under the influence of social networks, which were interesting to the students from different angles.
During the activity, each word was analyzed, starting from its grammatical forms, all the way to the influence of historical-linguistic circumstances on its meaning and use.
At the end of this event, students recited songs dedicated to love for their language and people.
