Integrating the contents of various teaching subjects into the world of the favorite literary hero from the works of the Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren, the fourth grade students embarked on an adventure of a coded virtual treasure hunt with Pippi Longstocking. Dealing with the subject of the life of this extraordinary girl, the students solved numerous challenges and improved their work with various digital tools. They created digital invitations for Pippi Longstocking’s birthday, went on a virtual journey along the paths of numerous world locations represented in the novel itself, and created a treasure trove of digital materials about Serbia to host Pippi. The students were particularly pleased with the creative work, which included, among other things, the creation of an unusual sock model in Art, Design & Technology classes, as well as a short film about Pippi using the Stop Motion Studio application and a children’s animation studio.
