Since from this school year International School Crnjanski has become one of the schools that have bilingual classes within national curriculum, we have hosted another bilingual primary school „IV kraljevački bataljon“ from Kraljevo. The aim of the visit has been to exchange the experience and learn about the system from one another, and find out more about the resources both schools are using. Our colleagues from „IV kraljevacki bataljon“ have shown to our students and colleagues the type of workshop they organise within bilingual teaching, in the form of Countdown quiz in English language. Our school’s Geography teacher has organised a demonstration class, in which the students revised the facts about the UK, through a bilingual presentation, worksheets and in the form of a quiz in English. Our students have shown impressive knowledge of this country using both Serbian and English language throughout the class. This has been an excellent opportunity for both schools to exchange their examples of good practice and realise closer cooperation, to mutual satisfaction. Given the fact that our students attend Cambridge programme as well, they have an excellent opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired within it, in bilingual curriculum as well. We are looking forward to similar cooperation in the future.
