Adequate traffic education and upbringing is of crucial importance for the safe participation of children in traffic. Children’s abilities to perceive and process information, motor skills and knowledge are in development and pose numerous challenges to educators for building correct attitudes in traffic at a later age. A creative approach to the processing of the topic mentioned above included the STEAM learning concept through which preventive activities were generated in order to improve the safety of students in the role of pedestrians. Augmented reality also found its place in the articulation of planned activities through the simulation of traffic situations.
