Today’s Cambrigde English lesson was dedicated to a group competition Readaloudathon, where students read and presented their stories, written in Sci-Fi genre, and afterwards, their peers voted on the stories they liked the most. In this way, students not only practiced writing and storytelling, but they also demonstrated understanding of Sci-Fi genre and its features through a specific task of writing a story of four chapters, inspired by the famous novels, the extracts of which we have read in class, such as: Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and The Green Book by Jill Paton Walsh. We congratulate the winners and all the participants for the effort they made.
